Trick or Treat!

Jack showing us his Superman pose.

Jack with Mimi's dogs Thunder and Boomer. The girls love it when Jack visits.

Jack with his aunt, YoYo. We went to visit YoYo at her work because all of Southwest Airlines does Halloween in a big way. Jack didn't recognize her and wouldn't give her a kiss until after she took off her wig and makeup. Jack also wanted to show off the bucket he made earlier that day at school.

Jack at his first trick-or-treating stop - Mimi's house. He filled his first bucketful here.

Our neighbors Andy and Freddy flexing their muscles with Superman.

Jack and his friend , Aubrey (tinkerbell). They went trick-or-treating together and giggled at every house.

Jack had the best time trick-or-treating. It was the first year he really understood the concept, and he didn't want to stop until he had "all the candy." His dinner ended up being 5 lollipops and 1 cheesestick. When one neighbor asked him "Who are you?" Jack said his full name with such gusto that he was as much as a superhero as Superman.

School Halloween Party

Jack and his class walking back in to their classroom for their halloween party. They were so surprised! They are all wearing the pumpkin shirt they made.

Daddy came to the party and helped Jack decorate his bucket before going back to work.

Jack and his friend, Wes, picking out their halloween cupcakes. Thankfully, he had several chick-fil-A nuggets and grapes as well as the ghost and pumpkin cupcakes.

Josh and Jack

Our friend, Josh, just got hired by NASA to be their new Public Affairs Specialist, so we had a good-bye dinner for him. Jack just happens to be wearing his SuperMan cape and Josh is wearing his Batman T-shirt. One day, Jack will have the BEST Flat Stanley school project. :)

Carving Pumpkins

Jack carved his own pumpkin using Daddy's drill.

SEA WORLD!!!!

We took Jack to Sea World and had a fantastic time. He rode on his first rollercoaster - the Shamu Express; he fed the dolphins; and climbed all by himself in the giant playground through canvas tubes that were 30 feet off the ground. He is still dreaming about his new friend, "Shampoo."

Air Show

Jack loves jets so we took him to the air show. Daddy took the Marine pull-up challenge and won a water bottle. Jack was excited to see that the airplane said, "I love you" which is what all hearts mean. And Jack fell asleep on the way home but was still able to hold his jet.

Picking Out Pumpkins

Jack picked out the best pumpkins from his school's pumpkin patch.

Flying Kite

Jack loves to fly kites. On this day, the wind was so strong that the string broke and the kite flew into the water. Mommy still saved it though. ick! :)

Dr. Jack Ryan

Taking after his godmother, Jules? Actually, after watching an episode of Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe, Jack thinks that this costume is what he wears when he is taking care of alligators.

Cowboy Jack

YEEEHAWWW!

Catching Lightning Bugs

After watching SuperMan at Mimi's house, Jack decided that he was going to be SuperMan for halloween instead of a football player. After he got his costume, he hasn't stopped wearing his cape. Here he is catching lightning bugs after he "calls" them using his glow-in-the-dark oinking pig key chain that our neighbor, Andy, gave to him.
